The Nigerian military has issued a stern warning to all citizens in the aftermath of a devastating ambush that claimed the lives of over 20 soldiers in Niger, a North Central State.

The military is cautioning Nigerians against aiding the cause of armed groups by spreading their propaganda materials, particularly social media platforms.

Edward Gabkwet, the Director of Public Relations and Information of the Nigeria Air Force, expressed grave concern over the increasing use of online tools by armed groups to disseminate their propaganda and solicit support.
