Nigeria’s president Muhamadu Buhari has assured the people of the troubled North Eastern part of the country from the protracted insurgency to peace and development in their respective communities.
The President gave the assurance at the inauguration of the Presidential Committee on the Repatriation, Return and Resettlement of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), in Maiduguri, the capital of Borno State, at the weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting in Abuja.
The committee has been saddled with the responsibility of developing a concise three-year national and state action plan by the end of March.
