Members of the minority caucus in Nigeria's Legislative Assembly on Wednesday threatened to commence impeachment proceedings against President Muhammadu Buhari if he fails to address the high level of insecurity in the country.
The lawmaker’s resolution came after a closed-door meeting with the Senate leadership headed by the Senate President, Ahmad Lawan in Abuja, the nation's capital.
They expressed worry over the spate of attacks in parts of the country particularly with the recent threats by terrorists to launch an attack on the nation's capital.
