The Nigeria Military says it is fortifying its approach to mop up small and light weapons in the country, particularly in the South-South region.

Authorities of Operation Delta Safe made this known at the Army 6-Division Headquarters in Port Harcourt where a large cache of weapons was recovered from non-state actors.

According to the military, more than three thousand five hundred small and light arms have been recovered since it commenced operations in 2016.
