The Nigerian military has announced the elimination of several terrorist leaders in the North East and North West regions of the country. 

Major General Edward Buba, Director of Defence Media Operations, made the announcement on Thursday in Abuja, stating that troops have prioritized targeting terrorist leaders, resulting in the neutralisation of numerous commanders, foot soldiers, and collaborators.
