Nigeria’s Defence Headquarters has announced the elimination of nearly 80 terrorists and the arrest of over 100 others in recent military operations across the country.
Speaking at a briefing, General Marcus Kangye emphasized that the crackdown targeted insurgents and criminal gangs, particularly in the northeast, a Boko Haram stronghold.
The military also seized weapons and critical equipment during the operations, as authorities continue efforts to restore security and stability in affected regions.
