Over 14 million girls in Nigeria have been vaccinated against cervical cancer in a major public health milestone.
The effort is part of an ongoing campaign led by the National Primary Health Care Development Agency.
Dr. Muyi Aina, the agency’s Director General, announced the achievement during First Lady Oluremi Tinubu’s visit to Enugu State.
Health experts say the campaign marks a critical step toward reducing cervical cancer cases and improving long-term public health.
