The Nigeria Government will extend its vaccination drive to deprived communities, in a bid to address the issues of health inequities in those regions.

Executive Director, National Primary Health Care Development Agency, Faisal Shuaib made the disclosure at the formal handover of two million doses of J&J vaccine presented by the European Union.

He explained that with the donation of the two million doses, the total number of doses of Johnson & Johnson’s vaccine available to Nigeria is about 51 million.
