Nigeria’s House of Representatives Committee on Public Accounts has directed the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) to investigate two former top government officials over alleged financial mismanagement of 3.2 billion naira (approximately $2 million).
The officials, Williams Alo and Yerima Tafa, both served as Permanent Secretaries in the Federal Ministry of Labour, with lawmakers alleging that the financial infractions took place during their tenure.
