The International Committee of the Red Cross, ICRC says Nigeria has Africa’s largest number of missing people with about 25,000, out of which 14,000 are children.
Head of Delegation, International Committee for the Red Cross, Nigeria, Yann Bonzon, reeled out the statistics at an event in Abuja to commemorate the International Day of the Disappeared, observed annually on August 30th.
According to him, the society has more than 5,200 documented cases of unaccompanied children in Africa.
