A High Court sitting in Nigeria’s commercial city of Lagos has convicted and sentenced to death by hanging, an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), Drambi Vandi, for the murder of a female lawyer, Omobolanle Raheem.
The presiding judge held that the prosecutor, the Lagos State Government, has proven the case against the convict beyond all reasonable doubt.
