Nigeria joins the rest of the world to commemorate the 2022 International Day of the Girl Child with a reminder to address the needs and challenges faced by the girl child in different parts of the country.
Aligning her views with the theme, “Our time is now-our rights, our future”, Gender Consultant, Oluchi Marlene in an interview with WADR underscored the role of the society to push for more inclusivity of the girl child in all endeavours.
She said the challenges which in some cases have made the girl child an endangered species are not insurmountable.
