The Nigerian government has lifted the suspension of Twitter operations in the country effective from today, January 13, 2022.

The Director-General National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Mallam Kashifu Inuwa made the disclosure in a statement released late Wednesday.

Usman Umar reports that the decision to lift the suspension followed approval by President Muhammadu Buhari to recommendations by the minister of communication and digital economy, Isa Ali to Pantami.
