The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has called on citizens to reject what it describes as distorted or falsified tax reform laws, warning that the measures could undermine public trust.
In a Christmas message, NLC President Joe Ajaero stressed that fiscal policies must be inclusive, transparent, and fair to all Nigerians, especially amid current economic pressures.
He cautioned that alleged distortions and possible forgery surrounding aspects of the tax reforms threaten institutional credibility and urged authorities to address the concerns raised by organised labour.
