Nigeria: Customs intercepts 3,620 rounds of ammunition in Kwara

The Customs Service, Kwara State Command has intercepted 3,620 live ammunition cartridges valued at over 10 thousand dollars.

Customs Area Controller, Comptroller Hussani Bello Ahmed who disclosed this to the press on Wednesday said the large quantity of ammunition was packaged in 25packs of 25 rounds each and contained in 14 cartons.

He added that the rounds of ammunition were intercepted at a border community between Nigeria and Benin Republic.
