Civil Society organizations have warned the government of any attempt to further shrink the civic space by shutting down the internet during elections. 

The group raised the alarm at a meeting in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital as part of efforts to mobilize critical stakeholders to ensure credible elections come February, 2023.
