Nigeria’s Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, has defended the recent military airstrikes in Sokoto State, targeting the Lakurawa terrorist group.
The operation, carried out on Wednesday, resulted in the deaths of at least 10 individuals and injuries to several others in the Silame Local Government Area. General Musa insisted that the strikes were precise and necessary, dismissing claims of operational errors while emphasizing the military’s commitment to combating terrorism and ensuring national security.
