The Cameroonian Government has engaged the Nigerian Government on a strategic partnership to facilitate the repatriation of thousands of Internally Displaced Persons, IDPs back to their ancestral homes.
Governor of Far -North Region of Cameroon, Mr Midjiyawa Bakari, disclosed this when he led a 19-member delegation on a courtesy call on the Borno State Government in North East Nigeria.
The engagement with Nigeria is part of bilateral cooperation to ensure restoration of peace and civil authority in some parts of the communities ravaged by insurgents in the region.
