Nigeria's President, Muhammadu Buhari on
Tuesday inaugurated the commercial production of crude oil and gas from the Kolmani Integrated Development Project along the boundary between Gombe and Bauchi states.
The ground-breaking ceremony at the Kolmani field site will be the first oil drilling in Northern Nigeria after Oil was discovered in commercial volume in the region in 2020.
The well is expected to produce 50,000 barrels of oil per day during the first phase.
