Ghana labor unions and government in stalemate over pay rise

In Ghana, representatives of labor unions and the government have for the second time adjourned their meeting over the unions’ demand for an over 60 per cent base pay rise for next year.

The parties met on Tuesday to continue with the negotiations which ended inconclusively last week.

After hitting another roadblock, the unions will meet today, Wednesday.
