Don't stop voting with marbles, AU Election Mission tells The Gambia

The Gambia maintains a unique voting system, using marbles instead of ballot papers

the African Union Election Observer Mission has called on the Gambia to maintain its voting system of using marbles.

The AU election observer mission made the recommendation at a press conference on Monday while presenting its report on the National Assembly election findings.

Amid calls by various organisations to change the voting system, the AU maintains that the system is unique, transparent and works for the Gambia.

H.E Dr. Speciosa Wandira-Kazibwe, is the former Vice President of Uganda is the Head of the AU Election Observer Mission to the Gambia.
