Prime Minister Choguel Maiga of Mali speaks out on the arrest of his mission manager and secretary general of the M5 movement, Bouba K. Traoré.

In prison awaiting trial, Traore was arrested at the end of May after signing a memorandum critical of the ruling military.

The M5 political movement to which Maiga belongs had expressed its disagreement with the extension of the transition.
