Mali's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Abdoulaye Diop has deplored the heavy impact of the sanctions on the population. His comments come 48 hours after the ECOWAS summit held in Ghana, where the bloc postponed its decision on the proposed transition period in Mali until July 3.
