Hundreds of Malians living in Ghana on Saturday stormed the streets of Accra, the country’s capital, to protest sanctions imposed on their country by the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) following two military coups and the failure to table an electoral calendar as earlier agreed.
The protesters want the embargo and the closure of borders surrounding Mali lifted.
