Mali’s High Authority for Communication has denounced the assault carried out by armed groups on journalists in the northern region of GAO on Tuesday.

The attack resulted in the tragic death of one journalist, another being injured, and two others being abducted.

Meanwhile, the Union of Free Radios and Televisions of Mali has also expressed its profound dismay.
