The Malian Armed Forces (FAMa) have neutralized several fighters and destroyed key equipment in the Ségou region.

In a statement on March 15, 2025, FAMa reported targeting a hidden shelter linked to Cheickh Oumar, a leader of the Katibat Macina armed group.

The operation resulted in the destruction of three pickup trucks, motorcycles, fuel depots, and explosive materials.

Authorities warned that those aiding terrorist networks are under surveillance, vowing to continue operations against insurgents.
