Mali's Prime Minister, Choguel Kokala Maiga says Security is gradually returning to central Mali.

The Prime Minister announced that thousands of refugees and displaced people have returned to villages they had fled for years.

According to the Malian authorities over the weekend, this situation is the result of the confidence the people have in the military leaders in power and the way they are tackling security challenges in the country.
