The members of the Security Council of the United Nations have condemned the attack perpetrated on 2 April 2021 against a MINUSMA camp in Aguelhok, Kidal region in Mali.
The UN says the attack resulted in four peacekeepers from Chad, killed and nineteen others injured.
The members of the Security Council expressed their deepest condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims, as well as to Chad and to MINUSMA.
As Veronic Njie reports, the members of the Security Council have called on the transitional government of Mali to swiftly investigate this attack and bring the perpetrators to justice.
