The Supreme Court of Mali has granted provisional release to top executives of the state energy company, EDM-SA, including former Minister of Mines, Energy, and Water, Lamine Seydou Traoré.

The officials, accused of forgery and damage to public property over a controversial tools acquisition, had been in pretrial detention for months. They will remain under judicial supervision as proceedings continue.
