After four months of occupation of Dinangourou, a village located in the region of Mopti near Mali'sborder with Burkina Faso, militants have made a public commitment to cease fire against civilians.
It should be recalled that the village of Dinangourou had been under siege by armed groups since May 2, 2021.
After negotiations led by customary chiefs in the area, the bandits have agreed not to attack citizens, to stop planting improvised explosive devices, to put an end to the theft of cattle, and to remove all obstacles to the freedom of movement of people.
