The second Battalion of Ivorian blue helmets, intervening within the framework of the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (Minusma), has been deployed in Timbuktu.
According to a note from the Ivorian army, this deployment represents a full contingent which will begin its mandate eight months after the arrival of its 225 precursors on January 6, 2022.
