Mali and Niger have signed a new energy agreement to bolster Mali’s fuel supply for power generation.

Under the deal, Niger will provide 150 million liters of diesel to Mali at a reduced cost, easing pressure on Bamako’s energy sector.

The move follows a recent visit by Mali’s Minister of Industry and Trade to Niamey for high-level talks.

Officials say the agreement will enhance bilateral cooperation and stabilize Mali’s electricity supply.
