The Malian army command has assessed the damage following Sunday’s attack on its camps in Lere by former rebels.

The attack in the north of the country resulted in the deaths of at least 5 soldiers and several others are still missing. The army also said it neutralized several ex-rebel fighters, who they now describe as terrorists.
