Liberia’s Supreme Court has set April 23 to rule on a Bill of Information filed by embattled House Speaker Fonati Koffa and his allies.
The ruling is expected to resolve a leadership tussle within the 55th Legislature, where rival lawmakers challenge Koffa’s legitimacy.
A faction led by Deputy Speaker Thomas Fallah and Rep. Richard Nagbe Koon claims to be the rightful House leadership.
The court’s decision could reshape the balance of power in Liberia’s national assembly.
