In Liberia, the shortage of Rice is causing some commotions among the population as many consumers Monday went looking for the grain but could not find any.

Rice is a major staple food in Liberia.

This is the fourth time this year that a shortage of rice is being reported in the country, as such the situation has created a public outcry, as several Liberians have threatened to embark on unspecified actions in the coming days if nothing is done to address the situation.
