The Liberia National Police on Monday announced that it has uncovered additional arms and ammunition at the country’s Freeport of Monrovia.
This followed last week’s discovery of a huge cache of high grid weapons in a container also at the Free port of Monrovia.
After last week’s bust, the police obtained a search and seizure warrant from the court allowing them to expand their search at the port and other areas, and resulting in Monday’s discovery.
Addressing a news conference Police spokesman Moses Carter said Boye Benjamin Baker; a Liberian living in the United States, is also linked to shipping of the second consignment discovered.
