The Center for Transparency and Accountability in Liberia (CENTAL) is criticizing Minister of State for Presidential Affairs Nathaniel McGill for justifying the stealing of state resources by public officials.
During a visit to central Liberia recently, the Minister said even if public officials are stealing state resources and investing in the country, it should not be a crime, something CENTAL Executive Director Anderson Miamen says is unfortunate.
Miamen is therefore calling on the Anti-Corruption Commission to immediately investigate wealth acquired by the Minister over a short period of time.
