Former Speaker Fonati Koffa and three lawmakers have been released on bail after three days in detention at Monrovia Central Prison.

The $440,000 bond was secured by two sureties at the City Court on Monday.

They face serious charges including arson, criminal mischief, and attempted murder over the 2024 Capitol building fire.

Legal proceedings are ongoing as public scrutiny mounts over the high-profile case.
