Liberia’s government has commended soldiers serving in the UN Mission in Mali who are said to be performing exceptionally well despite threats from suspected jihadists.

Liberia’s largest deployment is with the United Nations Integrated Multidimensional Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA), where its peacekeepers are working in very challenging security conditions.
