A court in Liberia’s capital has rejected a motion aimed at liberating several individuals under the immediate past administration of George Weah indicted for corrupt practices and embezzlement.
The case involves former Finance Minister, Samuel Tweah and several others.
Still, Judge Roosevelt Willie denied the motion from the defence to dismiss the indictment.
The ruling was made Friday in an open court in the capital, Monrovia.
