Liberian community protest extension of mineral giant’s deal

Concerned citizens of Grand Bassa County are protesting an extension in the Mineral Development Agreement of world steel giant— ArcelorMittal.

The company recently entered into an agreement with Liberia to extend its existing Mineral Development Agreement by additional 25 years.
