With the 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination set to begin on May 15, the Liberian office of WAEC is calling for professionalism and responsible parenting.

Over 53,000 students are expected to take part in this year’s regional exams. But as preparations intensify, concerns have emerged over the growing practice of “camping” — where students gather overnight in centralized locations to study.

The regional head of WAEC Liberia is warning against this trend, citing risks to student safety. He also reminded parents and school administrators that no illegal fees should be paid in connection with the exams.

Authorities are urging candidates to focus on their studies and approach the exams with discipline and integrity.
