The United Methodist Human Rights Monitor of Liberia has welcomed a statement by the United States Embassy, rejecting the election of Senator Prince Johnson as Chairman of the Senate Committee on Defense, Intelligence and National Security.
Recall U.S on Wednesday, expressed disappointment in the Liberian Senate for electing a former rebel leader, Senator Johnson, as Chairman of its Defense Committee, terming the move as obstruction to accountability.
