Stakeholders in Liberia are challenging the media to play a critical role in the maintenance of peace and stability ahead of Liberia’s 2023 general and presidential elections.

The calls come following a series of fake news on social media by unlicensed institutions, something many believe is gradually undermining the peace of the country.
