The Liberia National Police has announced the arrest of several members of the Coalition for Democratic Change Council of Patriots in connection with the July 26 violent protest.

The arrest of the men comes on the heels of a violent protest which ensued when the group launched a counter protest against the campus-based Vanguard Student Unification Party, who were staging a demonstration calling on the government to "Fix the Country."
