The youth congress of the Opposition Liberty Party in Liberia, is calling for the unconditional resignation of the Chairperson of the National Elections Commission—Madam Davidetta Brown-Lansanah and her board of commissioners.
According to Walter Blamo, spokesperson of the group, the current leadership of the commission cannot be trusted to conduct the pending 2023 general and presidential elections hence, they should resign within 72 hours or risk a series of political actions.
