The Liberia National Police has arrested a stalwart of the opposition Alternative National Congress Party Jethro Kangar for allegedly spreading misinformation of an alleged ritual killing on Facebook.

Police in Liberia recently threatened to arrest social media users bent on spreading fake news relating to ritual activities in the country.
