The joint Public Account and Audit committee of the Liberian legislature is warning President Joseph Boakai against indicting officials due to an audit of the General Auditing Commission without recommendation from the Legislature.
Acting upon the GAC audits, the Liberian leader proceeded to indict several former officials of government as well as to suspend the country’s Bank Governor, Aloysius Tarlue; something the Legislative body insists is illegal.
