Liberians are today celebrating their country's 175th Independence Day under the theme: "Fostering Unity, Protecting Peace for Development and Prosperity."
July 26th each year in Liberia is a day of celebration with Liberians merry-making in observance of the country’s Independence Day.
This year, however, threats of the demonstration have sparked debate.
