A group of Liberians under the banner “We the People,” are expected to take to the streets of Monrovia today, to thank the United States government for imposing sanctions on three ranking officials of the George Weah Administration.
The group’s lead campaigners former Senator John Ballout says the sanctions imposed on Minister of State for Presidential Affairs Nathaniel McGill, Port manager Bill Tweahway and state prosecutor Syrenius Cephus shows how pervasive corruption has become in the Weah’s administration.
